SparkCity Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: 26 October 2026

This notice explains the privacy practices of the initial offline Android version of SparkCity, an electrical-network puzzle game developed and published by Bespoke Software Solutions (BSS-ZA) in South Africa. The Android application identifier is za.co.bssza.sparkcity.

1. Summary

The current SparkCity release works without a user account or internet connection. It does not include advertisements, third-party analytics, advertising identifiers, social sign-in, cloud save or online multiplayer. The app does not send your puzzle history or game settings to BSS-ZA servers.

2. Information stored on your device

To allow you to continue playing, SparkCity stores basic gameplay information in the app's private storage on your device. This includes unlocked and completed levels, star awards, and preferences for sound, animated effects and optional vibration. These records are stored locally and are not automatically uploaded by the app.

3. Information we collect or share

In this version, BSS-ZA does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, files, payment details, advertising ID or gameplay telemetry through the app. SparkCity has no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and gameplay data is not sold or shared with advertisers.

If you choose to email BSS-ZA for support, your email address and the information you voluntarily provide are processed to answer your enquiry. Email communications take place outside the game through your chosen email application and its provider. The app's privacy-policy button opens this website in your browser; technical website access information may be handled by your browser, internet provider and our site hosting/security services under their respective policies.

4. Permissions and device functions

Core gameplay does not require camera, microphone, contact, precise location, storage or network permissions. If you enable haptics in Settings, SparkCity uses your phone's vibration capability for brief game feedback. This is optional and may be disabled at any time. Opening the external privacy or support link may use your browser or email application.

5. Retention and deletion

Saved game progress remains in the application's private device storage until you delete it. To erase progress from within SparkCity, open Settings → Reset Game Progress → Delete Local Progress. You can also uninstall SparkCity or clear its application storage using Android settings. The progress-reset action preserves sound, animation and vibration preferences; clearing app storage removes those preferences too.

6. Security and backups

Android's app-specific storage protects locally saved progress from ordinary access by other applications. We do not operate a SparkCity cloud database for this version. Automatic Android application-data backup is disabled in the current Android export configuration. While reasonable measures are taken, no software or device is completely risk-free.

7. Children's privacy

SparkCity does not require a user profile, collect date of birth or provide communication between players. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app. If we receive a support message concerning a child's information, contact us using the address below so we can review and, where appropriate, remove it.

8. Future changes

If future releases add advertising, analytics, online accounts, leaderboards or cloud features, this policy and any Google Play Data safety declarations will be updated to describe the new practices before those features are released. Any permissions or data collection added later will be disclosed where required.
